I dont know why, but I cant ever open .zip files from here...

OT...but I want to thank boosted91t. The >4500 <90 load portion of your map may have finally fixed my shift knock issues.

I had phantom knock with my S2s between 2400 and 3k around 100 load.

S2s + springs/retainers, good formula for phantom. If you reduce timing & knock counts persist then it must be phantom. Just de-tune knock control, it works like a charm.

Is your turbo still stock? I really question the choice of S2s for an auto-cross car!

Fp 71 hta, I'm at 25 psi by 3500 it's not that bad really. I do miss the has cams though a little more responsive down low. However I've gained midrange out the wazoo.

Laramie elaborate on the conditions of your problem if you can

S2s are made for much bigger turbos such as a GT35! Based on my extensive experience in autocross racing, a smaller degree cams would work better with smaller turbos & for autocross. I recommend 264 degrees cams, (HKS are the best for that size). Just like Laramie, I had an issue with an S2 equipped Evo, but knock was between 4000-6000rpm 18-22psi with really high counts & I had to adjust knock control.
One possible mechanical fix is to replace aftermarket retainers & possibly springs with stock parts (if cams size allows it).

Yea pulling timing doesn't seem to help. Once I make the det can I need to figure out how to adjust the knock filter properly

This is why I wanted the anti lag so bad. I thought I would be able to get away with a more aggressive set up and have stock like or better response

I would never recommend anything less than S2 or Kelford 272. They do not cause any lag on a stock turbo. Just like I would never recommend an HKS cam since there are much better options available.

You have misread my comment, my advice applies only to 'autocross' in which 90% are spent in low-mid speeds.
HKS are the best in terms of low-end response, check the AMS cam comparison post.
Unlike you mentioned, S2s will even cause more lag unless used with a 'larger' than stock turbo: http://www.power-division.com/produc...cat=306&page=1
