how do i update the def. i cant seem to look at any information on my new tune.i need help asap. the car is picking up knock like crazy.

 

They locked it by changing the ROM ID.

Were you able to open it before it got tuned? Perhaps it was ecuteked.

 

If Anything you could flash an old tune, but you would need another tune of course.

 

yes i was the one who originally tuned it. i have ran ecu unlocker. and i dont want to reflash yet i just want to compare. any ideal

Except we have run into cases where shops that have no idea how to tune an Evo (or any car) will pull tunes off cars and clone the build. There are exceptions to all rules and sometimes locking the tune makes practical business sense.
