Hi Guys,
after some reading info from a tuning book, can i just tune the accel enrichment table for a better response?
Im on a stock Evo 9 injectors but whenever i immediate full throttle my afr will deep richly (10 afr) and the car bog.
What can i do to improve my response?
1) Can i just adjust the A/E table without touching the fuel & timing map?
2) Or should i adjust on the Lean Spool AFR table only?

Since im running with Water/Meth now i believed i can compromise a bit of afr.

Really hope to get a solution on my Bog problem during immediate full throttle.

Lastly how to disable Accel Enrichment?

if lean spool is disabled then use the fuel map to take it out .

If your on stock injectors, its your fuel map that is wrong, not your accel settings. (unless you changed the injectors scaling or latency.)

 

and if you are on aftermarket injectors...? (scaled properly)

 

an undersprung bov will cause rich afr on spool. dumping a bunch of meth could also.

 

Thank you guys as ive tried adjusting some value on the A/E table on 2500rpm ~ 4,00rpm and i when for some cruise drive and few pulls logging and ive knocks up to 16 counts...

Im on the stock 560cc injectors now and ive scale it to 552 instead of 542.
Fuel trims are in -3 ~ -1.8 range.

 

So, providing that the BOV is good (tough spring), LS enabled, & injectors are properly scaled, then no need to touch accel enrish... is that a good conclusion of this thread?

 

Pretty sure when I had stock injectors they were scaled to 506...

 

USDM scaling is 510, JDM/EDM scaling is 542

 

560 for EDM
