After doing alot of reading, i still cant figure this out. I have good battery voltage, running ecu unlocker, awaiting my reflash plug but i have a jumper for the timing being i know is making a good connection. picked up a openport 2.0 off a friend of a friend, the led cycles colors while plugged in, blue and green i beleive( color blind, haha) ecuflash in the bottom right corner says its connected via com3 but i just cant read ecu:/ running windows 7 with usb selective suspension disable. After install of ecu unlocker it went a step further, but still failed to work. Is my cable bad? running the most up to date version of ecuflash. If it helps any, mitsulogger 2.0 wont detect vehicle either. thanks for any info in advance!

have you tried using EvoScan to read?

Im going to refrain from paying for evoscan untill i come up with some sort of resolution

 

run unlocker then open ecuflash then try with unlocker running it should send init seq1 (fofo)

 

I would guess its the lack of a reflash plug or the jumper isnt wired right.

 

If the re-flash connector is plugged in, I'd say the init string has been altered/ running ECUtek.

Run the unlocked as above.
