Looks kinda big to easily fit in there, but the price is amazing. Is the display itself 18x11 cm or is the size of the unit 18x11 cm? Can it be used with the external ADC cable that you have?
iphones are for p**sies who never give a damn about the tech and want to look geeky.
i want an apk, got too many android devices lying around already. will it work with bluetooth/wifi obd2 dongle and which one i'd need?

Ok, it's late and I prolly just didn't read close enough.. so I already have the openport 1.3u cable and an android tablet and a galaxy s3..
Can I use any of these? or would I still need to buy your tablet and extra cable?

Maybe I missed it somewhere, but are we able to reflash with this as well or only do logging right now? What program does it (or will it) use for tuning and reflashing? Evoscan or Ecuflash??
Is the evodroid compatible with Subarus? If not, any plans to add compatibility in the future?
Also, is there any way to connect the DLP IO8 to this?

there is no such thing as an "external ADC cable", I think you are referring to the openport 1.3DA or openport 3.0DA cable which both have 4x ADC 0-5v input channels.
and yes you can use it as a straight 4 channel ADC datalogger if you like using either of the Openport 1.3DA or 3.0DA cables. but you will need to get power to the device through the OBDII port though, for example pin16(12v +) and pin4(-ve) on openport obd connect need to be powered.
if you give me more details on what you are trying to log with the ADC and are you running this for an EvoX or Evo7/8/9 perhaps? I can give you more specific ideas.
yes it works on any resolution, the existing gauge designer program still works, so you can edit any design you like for any resolution. it outputs a txt file with the resolution in the filename, for example 800x480_Carbon1.txt and 480x800_Carbon1.txt and you can have any background image filename you like.
you don't need the DLP-IO8 because it is an all in one solution now, which means you can use the new openport cable in place of the dlp-io8
the EvoScan Openport 1.3DA and 3.0DA has 6 connections, 4 for external devices... 1 for sensor/serial ground (negative) and 5v for powering certain sensors than need 5volts.
1. ADC (0-5v Sensor input) also works as a switch input or switch output.
2. ADC (0-5v Sensor input) also works as a switch input or switch output.
3. ADC (0-5v Sensor input) also works as a switch input or switch output.
4. ADC (0-5v Sensor input) also works as a switch input or switch output.
any of the above 4 can also be used for Serial Input from a Wideband, up to a maximum of 4 widebands connected at once.
5. Ground (for Sensors and Serial Wideband input)
6. 5v Power for powered sensors.
Hamish, I jsut want some clarification whether the 3.0DA cable will also work for CT9A platform? I'm ready to order, and would like to order the 3.0DA if it is a more universal application.
