Question for you full open loop tuners

Hey guys,

I drive a IX, I suspect I'm having some problems with an o2 sensor as the car gets very rich at idle. I do plan on replacing the sensor however I need to drive the car right now.

I have flashed a full open loop tune using the FAA bit option. I drove around the block and found the AFRs at idle/cruise were a bit richer than the desired 14.7. I was getting around 13.8, now my question is do I just work inside of the High and Low Octate Fuel Map in ECUFlash to correct this? I know I need to be working under 80 load and 4500 RPM range.

Do I just continue to increase the cells from 14.7 higher until I reach the desired crusie AFR? I have already changed all the cells from 14.7 to 15.7 without a huge noticable change in my AFRs.

Is there another table I shuold also be worknig on to adjust this or just increase this higher than 15.7?

Thanks guys.

I would lower the latency of injectors just a bit if you are a little on the rich side at idle\cruise.

Which tables would I use to modify this? How much of a change should I look to make?

"Injector Battery Voltage Latency Compensation" table.

you need to lower it just a bit.

for example if your latency at 12 and 14 volt set

1.248
0.984

lower them just 1 step down to

1.224
0.960

keep an eye on your AFR gauge.

Ok that's what I was thinking from reading some threads on tuning injectors.

This is my current voltate latency. I guess I would want to start adjusting the entries across from 11.72 and 14.06 volts, is this where the voltage would be when the car is at idle or cruise? I would want to focus in that area

yes. but you should keep the curve. if your changes are substantial, than you should correct the adjacent cells in that table too.
