Hi all,

I'm modding my 2012 2.0 NA Lancer and struggling to get more power from it.
So far, I've made the following changes and got the following results:

Stock (baseline): 134whp
ECU Tune V1 by Ralliinspired Rick: 140whp
ECU Tune V2 by Ralliinspired Rick: 142whp
+4g69 throttle bodie: 144whp
+Hi-flow metalic Cat + catback exhaust (2.5in): 149whp
+Takeda SRI: 150whp

The thing is, I was expecting around 160whp at this point... and the car is running lean, around 14.2+ AFR. Do you guys think I could get more power from richen the AFR?
Also, Rick has done a richier version, but it actually lost power, around 10whp (some areas) and 3whp peak!

The funny thing is, that is possible to see a little "kick" at around 5k, but the dyno showed less power!!

 

I would say for an n/a motor 14.2 @ wot is too lean. Somewhere between 12.5 and 13 is where you'd want to be.

^ What these guys said... Lean is mean, but it's only a matter of time before you burn some pistons/valves at those AFRs
