does anyone know anything about this or have experienced that same problem? iv tried downloading evoscan onto my computer and when I go to install it, it states it needs framework 2.0 to install... according to my computer its pre loaded with framework 4.0... evoscan worked fine on this computer until I upgraded to windows 8.. need some help

 

Don't have it at home to confirm. But the issue seems to be that 2.0 is not installed by default on Win8. See here:

haha, looking for the same answer as I'm looking at buying a laptop just for logging right now. I'm guessing though, since it's just for logging I have absolutely 0 reasons to get the windows 8 option.

 

Yes it works on windows 8.. When you go to install it it will prompt you that you need framework 2.0 or something.. Just follow the link in the second post and it will tell you how to activate framework 2.0 so it can install on your new windows 8 computer
