How to tune for best emission at coldstart,warmup and cruise?
Dear Evodrivers,
i need some advice, how to tune my car, to get the best emission
results at coldstart, warmup and cruise . It doesn't mather if i loose a lot of
Power, spool or mileage .
In my country it is illegal to drive with a modified car, even with a
different Airfilter panel. Except, i bring the Car to a expensive
special Emission inspection, thats what i want(need) to do.
Main problem in my modification:
-Bigger injector (FIC 1100)
-Fuelpump 300
-Fuel rail
-Find a good coldstart catalytic converter
I think, the first part will be to change the Injectors to stock.
Second part, remap the Idle RPM to 2500+RPM at Coldstart (warmup) and
1000RPM at idle, to bring the catalytic converter in temperature. Maybe also
wrapping the catalytic converter, to keep the heat inside.
Next would be, to keep the car as long as possible in closed loop.
What else should (could) i do in my map?
- How should i change Mivec for cold and warmup phase, in Idle and Cruise maparea?
-How should i tune my Timing for Idle and Cruise?
-Which spark is better, stock or 1 colder spark?
-Are there other Maps to bring the emissions down?

Ported and coated stock manifold exhaust.
EF2 Turbo
AMS Downpipe
ETS Intercooler
AEM Airintake
Forge BOV
Fuelpump 300
Cosworth Fuel Rail
100cell catalytic converter
