Idling big injectors

Is there a trick to getting bigger injectors to run on the stock ecu?

Heres the story, about 6 months ago I switched from stock to PTE 1000cc injectors, dialed them in and had them running smoothly on 93 with good fuel trims. So after about a month I switched to E85, scaled them again for e85 and they ran great except for a slight random miss at idle. And would sometimes get a p0300 random misfire code but only at idle.

I figured it was just the e85 so I swapped back to 93 but the miss was still there as well as the random code. Installed new plugs gapped at .023 same problem.

So I wasn't too worried about it because it was very random and it ran great besides the idle.

So fast forward to yesterday, I picked up some Bluemax 1450's as I will have a new turbo coming soon and want to have the fuel to keep up.

Installed the injectors and dial them in, fuel trims are around 5% and again the car runs great, except for the idle which has gotten worse with these injectors.
Misfires very frequently at idle only.
If I force the ecu into open loop at idle and run an afr richer than 12:1 it runs smoothly,

But It doesn't seem like anyone else here has to run this rich to get these things to idle without misfiring,

any help would greatly be appreciated.

P.S. sorry for the long as read.
