Erratic Timing Jumps vs Timing Tables

Timing Values that are in the main timing table, are not what is being reported through evoscan. I understand that this is an interprolation between given cells to average out the values. However in my case, I am calling for e.g 10 degrees at given load, yet it gives me 2 degrees.

What this effectively does to the car is make it jerky between that given rpm range 1200 to 2000

Facts
1)SD with Tephra V7.
2) Problem area is between 1300 and 2000 rpm
3) Fuel : ethanol
4) injectors are 2150s. scaled within reason

here is a quick screen datalog to show what I am talking about ( third colum is timing). The interpolted values should never drop below 10 because that is the minimum value that I have. )

attempted fixes that have not worked
1)asynch accel vs rpm increase points to 10 in rpm range
2)sd vs rpm increase between 1000 rpm and 1500 rpm
3) Ignition Trim vs air temp turned to 0 in the middle of table

I then looked at the low coolant temp timing trim ( which is still stock )and that would be the only area, that could possibly give the reported values in evoscan.-- which is making me think I have a bad coolant temp sensor.

thoughts ?

See if disabling FAA bit 10 helps. It did on my 8859.

Logging raw timing to see if what you are logging is actually what the ECU is requesting out of the main timing map?

Im sure you already checked this.. But id thought i would throw it out there as an idea.. Are you logging with 2-byte or 1 byte ? if youre logging the correct 1 byte, whats your conversion factor, 1.2x?

its one problem after another...and i know this issue is NOT related to my tune when im cruisng highway speed around 3000rpm i will randomly get a tremble from the engine (feels sorta like a missfire) and AF will rapidly go lean then rich then back to normal

happens randomly

FML =(

Dont wanna do a pull with this happening, now i gotta figure out wtf is going on again.

any idea?

^ x2

If you have a really fast computer and log very few items, you may be able to see the load jump really high for a split second. That is where the low timing is coming from. There is a bunch of info in the 3D SD thread about it. Might be the same with 2D.
