FIC 1650cc Bluemax Injector Scalings?

Hi does anyone have injector latencies and scalings for FIC 1650cc Bluemax Injectors? I can't seem to find some base figures for these particular injectors, but have come across FIC 1450cc and 1550cc.

I'm currently just driving around on pump fuel with Precision 880cc but am looking to run e85 soon and install FIC Bluemax 1650cc injectors which I already have, and proposed fuel system consisting of with twin Bosch external fuel pumps with -8 fuel feed and -6 return. Also how much power would the 1650s support on e85 fuel?

Motor spec:
2.3 litre stroker 9.0:1 compression ratio
manley billet crank
carillo rods
wiseco pistons
extensive head work
custom ground kelford cams by kelford (unknown specs)
solid lifters
AMS 950r T3 turbo kit
Evo 7 ecu (which can run evo 8 maps) ready for the switch to speed density, already have Omni 4 bar map and GM IAT sensors installed.

Any help would be great, thanks.

I can't find the scalings for them but I would start the scaling at 1512. As for voltage, use the scalings for 1450's but bump them up slightly as a rough starting point.

OK thanks, I'll give that a go or even start with the 1550cc voltages.

here is where you start first find the round filing cabinet and store those in there. buy some better injectors lol you are in for some headaches. I hate those injectors with a passion. I would do a good set of either fic 2150 or id 2000 you will be better off just my opinion from a guy who has ran them and fought them from day one. switched to id 2000 and I love them!!!!

Starting points for a 2.0L -

3.312
2.4
1.8
1.392
1.08
1.008
0.864

Scaling - 1392

I recommend these for E85 only but with patience and SD you can make them work on gasoline. A bigger motor is better as is a P&H driver box.

I had considered selling them and buying something more common but will have a play around to see if I can get them working on pump fuel first.

Thanks for the tips

could any adjustments be made to the IPW tables to help with these injectors? I'm a bit of a noob, so forgive me if that was a silly question.

Would these work w/o SD as well? I am about to install these and have been trying to find the scalings/latencies as well.

I've been fighting these injectors for months. I still have idle issues and cruising issues on gas (non-e85).

Here is what I have so far that runs ok for the moment lol:

3.312
1.752
1.560
1.344
1.176
0.984
0.144

Scaling = 1539

It runs alright for me, but could be different for you. All of my stuff with the 1650's has always been trial and error. I'm getting different injectors, I'm tired of messing with these lol.

*edit* This is on SD too.

E85 scaling 1044

Latency
3.312
2.208

they are grumpy injectors, there are several much better injectors you could be using with less problems.

Merlin, did you run with those values or no? If not, how did you get these values?

Well I tried the numbers that Merlin has put up here, it runs a little better but not much. I'm still having idle issues as it runs fine at 15.2-15.4 AFRs for a few seconds, jumps to 17.0+ AFR, then shoots to 10.0 AFR then back to the 15.4ish. If I let it idle long enough tho, it will actually flood itself out and die, then I can't start it again.

Not sure if I need to start adjusting the Latency more, but while cruising it will just lean out randomly and start chugging, then will come back to being fine if I'm pressing the gas down and moving a little more air through it.

I will start messing with the tune more and see if I can figure out a good happy medium for these injectors that will run fairly well for people.
