do you need to tune after tephra

hi, i have a good map for my mods, but i want to ask, do i need to tune after i convert to big maps ? or is it the basicly the same as the old map, but smoother ?
because i logged the car just driving it, and im getting knock in mid boost (14-16psi).
im thinking maybe its phantom knock? because i have gsc s3.
thanks

hi, you don't need a tune as such but more of a clean up/smoothing when converted.

cheers

Tune it, or pay someone to tune it. That is about the only tip for that one. Also, no WOT runs until you tune it.

He meant if you do WOT runs it's because you're tuning it. Be conservative, start rich with low boost and low advance, go from there.
