Logs, rom

I've been getting the flashing check engine light under two conditions; part throttle from around 3000 rpm and wot at high rpm. Logs and rom attached. The first three pages of the pdf of the log shows one high knock run. The next four pages shows another. The knocks in both seem to be in the same six cells of the high octane ignition map.
On the last four pages are all of the knocks recorded in six logs. All of those lines have one or two knocks.
I just got a 1.3U cable a few weeks ago and started reading Merlin's guide downloaded from the evoscan website. From what I have been able to learn, I should start by decreasing the timing advance by two degrees in those six cells and see if that decreases the knocksums, continuing as needed, one degree at a time. Should I just ignore the knocksums of 1 and two counts elsewhere?
Any advice or comments appreciated.
(I'm not really clear on how to reflash once I've made changes.)

IMO you're running too much timing in the 100 - 160 load columns for the afr you're running during spool. Also, non of the logs you attached show any of your high rpm knock problems.

You may want to get a little better resolution in vacuum to boost transition area by rescaling your load axis. If I remember correctly you're still on the stock turbo and there is no need for your load to be scaled to 320. Scale it to 260 as I hope you're not running more than 23psi on that small turbo for the track or street.

You can work a bit at a time and decrease your timing by a few degrees in the trouble areas until the knock is gone. I would suggest to look at the this thread, https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...ming-maps.html, for some inspiration and guidance as well.

Use save as for your rom revisions so you can revert back to a previous revision if the new one takes a step in the wrong direction. Once you've made your changes hook up the lap top and cable, turn the ignition to the on position (just as when you read the rom image from the ecu), and hit the upload rom button on ecuflash.
