can't read ecu or write to ecu
I was able to read my ROM using EcuFlash and recorded logs with EvoScan, but in both cases it occurred after several failed tries. Don't know that I did anything different, just kept trying several times until it worked. That was several weeks ago.
Lately, I can't connect, "no response to any known code." I've read about the battery issue, so I tried my charger, then bought a Battery Tender Junior and used it twice. No luck. So, I tried the (bad?) advice I've seen to try to read while the car is running. It stalled, but after it stalled I couldn't read. If I've got this right, that means no problem with cable (1.3U), yes? Does it indicate that battery isn't doing it even when charged up, since I connected when running?
