Okay, I have been tuning my dsm's for a while on ECMLink, but this is my first time doing anything with an evo.

The car is an '03 and it's on SD. I have the tactrix cable and evoscan/ecuflash programs. I'm just afraid to start doing anything and completely delete or do anything to the current tune to make it undrivable.

Is there anything I should be aware of before I do anything irreversible?

 

Copy your current tune and save it as another filename. Do all of your mods in the new filename version. That way you always have a safe tune to go back to.

 

^^ this just make sure you pull the original tune and keep it in a safe place.
