Need Some help setting up ECUFlash - Roms not reconized - Getting tuned Sat!
I am getting Dyno tuned Sat by Jestr and he is sending me a updated rom image that will allow me to install my new injectors prior to dyno day. I Was able to copy the rom image and send it to him for modification but my ecu flash is not setup properly. I cannot open, upload or edit my roms. I have read and searched left and right but i am not finding the correct info. I believe my rom id is 88590715, I have an Evo ix . I am not sure if i am entering the correct directory. Any help is appreciated , once again I have read / Searched and tried to change the settings to the best of my knowledge but unfortunately this is over my head.

find the definition file in the link... its a .xml file... open my computer on your pc, then programs, openecu, ecuflash, rommetadata, mitsu, evo, and copy and paste the file in there... then open the new map...
on vista the openecu folder is in program files (x86)
i'm sure you'll figure it out

I should be more clear sorry. If you have rom ID ending 715 thats a tephra rom and ecuflash doesn't have the xml files to read those roms so you have to add that xml file to the rommedata folder so ecuflash knows how to read that rom. Do a search for tephra v7 88590715 on here and the thread will explain how to set up ecuflash to read tephra roms. It's super ez just read the thread on it.

if you can't find it in that link.... the raw data is here...
http://code.google.com/p/ecurom/sour...15-v7.xml?r=55
but you need to open a new doc in a program that can save as xml... then paste it and save into the same evo folder
