need help with "Unknown ROM Image"...

Just got my new Evo IX ROM image back from tuner; opened ECUflash and tried to select new ROM to be written to ECU, and get the following "Setup ROM" message: "Unknown ROM image", and says that it needs a ROM definition; gives me 3 choices: Define from scratch, copy, or inherit from below... However, the dropbox that should contain my choices is blank. Any ideas?

I did not have any issues reading my stock OEM ROM, only with the new ROM...
I also made sure that my new ROM image is saved with the '.hex' ending.

I really appreciate any insight someone with more experience can give me...

Thanks guys...

I'd go back to your "tuner" and see if they have a solution. Chances are that they need to send you another file that will be gladly accepted by the ECU.

Yeah, I was wondering if they forgot to include something in my new ROM image file...

forgot to mention... once I close out the "Unknown ROM Image" box, there is an underlying error box titled " Command Line Open ROM file", which states that there was an error reading this ROM file. Don't know if this helps anyone...

I'm having the same problem today. My buddy had his car tuned by a well known tuner, but the idle is a bit low. Wanted to bump it up. First, was locked, so had to use the unlock tool. Once I got the rom pulled, it gave me the same options. Shouldn't be any issues, but apparently there is. Anybody figure out how to do this yet?
