03 Lancer automatic ecu-> evo8 rom?

Hi, I'm new to the evolution ecus, and I've tried finding a sure answer to whether or not an auto ecu can be flashed to an evo8 ecu for use on a stick car.

I'm abandoning the dsm ecu in hopes for your much more advanced coding and development

regards

Yep, you definitely can. That's how I run my 1G swap . I'm currently using an 02 Lancer A/T ecu with the Tephra V7 rom.

You have to alter the xml though, otherwise it won't open the file. You need to change the memmodel to "<memmodel>SH7055</memmodel>", and double the size of the M/T rom you plan to use. The stock M/T stuff is 256kb, and the A/T is 512kb. I've enclosed my files below, to make it easier .

Also keep in mind that the ECU will nto plug up to a 2G harness. You will need to build an adapter.

Ah, yeah, definitely. Here's the pinout I used for the 1G DSM - to - AT ecu.
If anything, it'll help you with some of the pinouts you'll need to build the adapter.
