05 mr tuning questions

I have a 05 mr with 3" turbo back, front mount, bov, intercooler pipes and putting kelford 272 cams walbro 255 fuel pump and boost controller in tomorrow .. Was planning on bringing it to get it tuned but I was thinking about getting the Evo scan before to see how I can do.. I used to be able to tune my old dsm with dsm link and was wondering where I should order from/what I should get.. Thanks for the input
Ps: I hope I'm posting in the correct spot..

You need to download:
Evo Scan
ecuflash

From www.evoscan.com

You need to purchase a 1.3u cable from evoscan. Keep in mind they are located in New Zealand, so it will take some time to arrive

Do I just use a laptop? Sorry just I had a friend and he had this small little pocket logger or something and I'm not really sure what it was and wasn't sure if I needed something specific..

yes! you just need a decent laptop running windows 7 (I don't run evoscan on windows 8 yet so I'm not sure how well it'll work).

The pocket logger is an option that you can purchase from evoscan. Basically it will store the datalog file to a memory (SD I think) and you can view either from it or a laptop. It's nice to have but not so important.
