No Lift To Shift test
No Lift To Shift test
Alright so ive been playing around recently with NLTS. I did the drive way test and it worked fine. I changed the settings back to stock and took the car out for a spin, and it worked but i wasnt able to shift into the next gear. It was most certainly my error, so my question is what would be some ideal setting to test and practice at a lower rpm and speed? Just for the sake of getting some practice in so i can get comfortable with it. Maybe like a TPS threshold of 30%, but what would be good for the load threshold? Something where i can cruise to a street to test it without it engaging on the way. On my earlier test i was thinking maybe i couldnt switch gears because of clutch lockout, or maybe just me so used to lifting the gas when clutching.. So i'm open to any suggestions and help. Thanks EvoM!

Pretty basic settings that should work. You just have to get used to telling your brain hey don't move your right foot while moving your left foot and shifting in a calm smooth fashion. It took me a hand full of tries to train my brain to do it right lol. If you really want to just practice lower the tps threshold and load to somewhere under 100, maybe like 40?
Those are the stock settings. What I'm asking is, what we be some good setting where I can go out and just practice at low speeds and low rpms. Tried it last night and It didn't really go to well. Some practice will take care of that tho. I'll try with tps set to 40% and load at maybe 110. I'll see how that goes.
