rich issue top end

Hi, I'm having an issue with my evo 8 going super rich top end. AFR drops from 11.0 at 6700rpm to 10.3 by 7500. Im no tuner, I come from dsm land where I used dsmlink which was quiet a bit different than evoscan/ecuflash. I also have a spot where it gets lean for a split second and comes right back down to 11.1ish. Mods are

Map ef4
walbro 450 e85
1450cc injectors
turbo back exhaust
280 comp cams
car is setup for sd with omni 4bar
aem uego

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks

Lean spool is off, I tried to post a log but it wouldn't allow me to. I can send them to you if you want to see.

What valve springs? Could just be a major loss in power/VE to drop that quick caused by float.

PM your map and i can look at the VE table.

It's like SD in Link, if it rich out top pull fuel in the SD table.

Stock springs, I'll send it to you when I get home today. Also I haven't looked into the SD settings. Car was setup by a "tuner" that couldn't get 1450s to run. Said they were clogged, so I decided to try them out and bam they ran and pretty good at that.

Sounds good, the 1450's aren't the most amazing injector to get to work correctly but its surprising what you can do with dialing in the latency.

Yeah I messed with latency a bit and got then to idle and cruise great. I've actually done a few wot pulls with zero knock just little issues here and there

Aaron,

On SD, you no longer tune the regular high octane map? Just SD tables???

^^^^ uhhh... no.

im assuming this question is based on the OP having everything looking good, but his changes to the high octane table will not lean out the car up top.

therefore, your next thing to look at would be to make sure the SD was correct

See this thread to help you tune the SD tables if you're familiar at looking at a 3d VE table.
