need definition for EDM 2014 SST ROM 50855085
Hi folks.
Just a quick note on these new ROMs...
Their ROM ID position is actually different from all previous EvoX/Ralliart ROM images. That's why you're getting the repeated "50855085" code suffix.
If you offset the "internalidhex" value to 5002e instead of 5002a, you get a more traditional value... 50850002.
Like so...
Same as "5084"... which isn't "50848084", but "50840002".
This will get more important once incremented revisions start being seen (eg. 50850003). If we don't collectively get our house in order by then, someone's going to come to grief trying to use "50855085" built on one revision... on a different revision.
Which would be bad.
Cheers,
Rich
