SD - AIT or Fuel temp ?

Thinking of converting my USDM IX to SD

Car is 99% street driven in town.

I live in the Southeast and do not travel far, but maybe once a year.

Can I just use the Fuel Temp sensor, or is it much better to have an AIT welded into position?

I've been using fuel temp, as well as most other guys in my area. Seems to work fine.

Good to know, I'll start working on the conversion then

Wonder why people go through the trouble of an AIT then...

Thank you!

you still need a 3 or 4 MAP bar sensor. Either a JDM MAP sensor, or one from OMNI..

IAT or FUeL temp

I recently tuned using Fuel temp for my lancer (4g93) it is showing me consistently 25c so i believe it is running based on fix temp. Can i use IAT? (i have one working well)

my issue is cold start is kinda bad. At least for first 1 min it will be low RPM before it increase.

any help?
