ECU replace ?

I look like having to renew / replace the ECU in my EVO 7 GTA.

I'll be replacing it with the like.


Do I have to also have to change the immobiliser module ?

copy over your immobiliser code to the new one

Its a JDM RHD car in Australia , I've just been told there's no immobiliser , I'm getting a steel key cut tomorrow so Ill find out quick smart if there is or aint .

had a look at jdm rom and sure enough immobiliser is disabled

Yes, or rather no , key done, starts straight up so no immobiliser this side of the Pacific either.

You wouldn't know what the difference is in these three ECU's is by any chance ?


As you can see the series(?) H has two types ?


They're all out of stock as a rock GTA's

same part number MR985180 so must be interchangeable
