Locked Ecutek ECU HELP
Locked Ecutek ECU HELP
Hey Guys,
I have an Evo X GSR with a Turbo-Upgrade, ID1000 injectors, intank fuel pump and all the other necessary Hardware. I got the Software made from a Tuner and it makes good Power. But I'm having some different small issues like the hot start issue. If the engine is hot, sometimes it Needs really Long crank to start. The Tuner who made the Software is not able to fix it or he doesn't want to spend time to fix it.
I did some Research by myself and found some really good Posts here in the Forums. I would like to try some of those fixes to see if that works for my car. But I can't read the ECU with ECUflash since it's locked by Ecutek. Is there a way somehow to read that ECU and edit it with ECUflash? I found some informations about how to bench Flash the ECU back to stock, but than I would have to start tune the car from the scratch without even having a backup...
Is there anybody who can help me??
