Hi all,

I just flashed 96530706 MAF into my evo 8. Idles fine runs fine.

Response is good. On sudden throttle on drive or in neutral the car stutters and misfires and AFR gets rich at 10 but if press the throttle gradually all is good no problem.

Any suggestions, tips are appreciated.

Stock injectors.iacv post WOT tables had values of 80% in all rpm

 

This happens at 2500 rpm.

 

Need to monkey around with the async acell tables. Do a search on "async accel" or check out mrfreds thread on advanced fuel control, should find plenty of material there.

So I was a bit frustrated. I changed to 9417 and the problem was gone. Both roms were on stock settings.

 

I really want to run 9653 I am familiar with it have achieved good results with it.

 

So i have tested 96530706 on Evo 7 and for Evo 8. Both having same Assync accel tables and Idle Stepper target tables.

Evo 7 runs perfectly but 8 is hesitating to go past 2500 RPM on sudden throttle . Although i havent tried playing with Assync accel tables but it seems to weird. At first i had 3 codes popping up EGR, o2 heater circuit and p0243. I also disabled bit 4 and bit 5.

Any one experienced this kind of behavior on 9653 ? can any one verify if the XML i have is correct and problem is related to tune.
