I was flashing the ecu when I got a error message saying that some of the ecu memory had been flashed but could not finish the whole process.
Unfortunately I am one of the few that must have the car running in order to start the read/write ecu process. Now that the ecu has been altered, I cant start the car to continue or restart the read/write flash process. Basically my car is inoperable now. Anybody every had this happen to them? Am I completely screwed?

You shouldn't need to have your car running to flash it.
Flashing the ROM again will fix it and allow your car to start.
I know I shouldn't have to but others have this same problem. If I don't let the car run for a minute, ecuflash wont read or write. I guess I didn't let it run long enough? Suspecting my issue was related to voltage, I hooked up a battery tender and I was able to complete the flash. My battery is only 3 weeks old too so I'm stumped on how this could be a voltage issue, voltmeter reads 14v.
if your battery reads 14v with the car off then you have a voltage issue indeed
Your battery won't ever read 14v unless it's charging. 9/10 time these issues are caused due to a bad connection in either the 12v or ground not allowing the correct voltage to reach critical components.
OP, do you have a multimeter? Sounds like you have resistance somewhere in the circuit and the OBD port or ECU isn't getting enough voltage. There is no reason to have to run the car to flash it, you need to focus on fixing what ever is keeping it from connecting. If you want to try diagnosing that, I'd be more than happy to help you, but I wouldn't try flashing any further until you(we) have an idea of what's going on.
