Airtrek reflashing
Airtrek reflashing
Hi
Not a newb to cars but completely new to ECU mapping.
Heres my spec-
Evo 8 manifold
Evo 6 RS 16g
3" elbow
3" downpipe
3" decat
walbro 255
To fit Sti 550 injectors
Modified TMIC pipework, may fit water spray depending on inlet temps
I'm looking at sorting out the mapping now.
Need to get a tactrix cable and get my rom file downloaded.
Does anybody have a reliable map with the above mods? I know it's a long shot but with it being my daily driver it would be good to skip the test phase and have it running correctly from the beginning using parameters that someone with knowledge has built through time, I'm obviously happy to pay for one.
Failing that what are the Tomei and Mines maps like? Are the values a good base to work from?
Thanks

Find a copy of Merlin's Evo tuning guide and read that (evoscan.co.nz) then re read it.
You can't do any meaningful tuning without a wide band.
The airtrek is actually mapped from factory to the same load (280) limit as an Evo but the fuel and boost limit is 205. Up those limits and your factory mapped to 90% of the stock Evo ..
You can tune the sti injectors by logging the fuel trim but better with a wideband... Again Merlin's guide explains it all.
