I have the Evo 8 with the OEM Map 96530006. Now i install Tephra V7. When i Flash this to the car, the car don't start. When i go back to the OEM Map it start again. I thought its someting with the Immobilizer. But there didn't foud a solution.
Is there somebody how can take e look. im my two files and give me some inputs. Would be great. OEM MAP 96530006
im 100% sure that i transferred the file correctly from 96530006 OEM to 96530706 Tephra
It looks like its something with the immobilizer. But there i can't see something wrong.
Because with the OEM Map the car start, with the Tephra Map the engine turn, but he don't start.
In the Attachments i put the 96530706 Tephra Map how don't start. Maybe somebody can find the mistake.
If you disabled the immobilizer, and it still won't start, it's not the immobilizer. I have had a rom become corrupted on me and not start. You could try downloading a fresh rom and transfer the tables again and see if it works. If that's not it then you probably missed something in transferring over your data.
Here is a thread about the tables related to startup that need to be moved over:
I checked now the whole OEM MAP (how can start the engine) and compare it with the TEPHRA MAP (how doesn't start the engine). With the ECUFlash function (compare ECU)
There are some difference between the two maps. But where i can find the difference marked here in red color. Maybe there will be the problem
The hashes don't really tell you anything. They would be different just from the edits that tephra makes to the oem code. You will need to spot check tables.
I found only one difference. The Global Fuel Settings IPW was set to 0x0009. With OEM Injector it has to be 0x4908. What do you think, it can be the Reason that the car don't start?
I checked all your tables you showed me in the thread linked. Everything good. I compare the MAP how don't start the car even with e old one i had from 2013. Even there the only difference was this here.
Now i changed the tables back from 0009 to 4908 & 4900. I will try it today to flash it to the car and look if it start.

Those are part of a mod that modifies how the cpu calculates the minimum injector pulse width. You need to verify that the modded minimum ipw value is what the stock value was if using stock injectors. Finding the words to explain this is tough. The mod works by changing the way the ecu interprets the value stored for the minimum injector pulse width. So if you implement the patch and don't change the value, then it will be very wrong. The context behind why you would want to do this is in the other thread you posted in. Since you have the patch implemented you should be using the scalings from the min ipw patch thread to modify the minimum ipw value. If you are still using the stock scaling in your XML to view and edit the value in ecuflash it will be wrong.
Its possibile that the car just crank and don't start with this difference in the immobilizer?
I think that's just an XML thing, they are the same numbers just presented differently. If the immobilizer is preventing the car from starting you get a little green flashing key on the cluster.
