USDM Evo IX 88595715. I pulled this Rom of an auction car I bought. Someone stripped the gauges out. Cant see the AF but dont want to blow up the engine if its not right. Cant see the Rom in ECUFLASH, looking for some direction. It sucks that the tank is full of E85 and I cant tell if it has not been tuned correctly or if its already tuned.

Never mind. I got it with some research and bin editing. It's been awhile.

More fun.. Trying to get ready to smog this bad boy. I'm preparing for the worst case scenario......the state referee. I saved the tune off the car after I got it home. I removed the 104 bit addition from the top of the hex with an editor. Issue is I cant pull the IMMO code to add to a stock rom. I'm attaching the original tune and the modded tune. Both start the car but with the stock rom 88590016 I added my IMMO and the car wont start. Trouble code shows as IMMO code incorrect with 88590016
Car is a 2006 IX MR. Need some guidance. read_image is what was on the car and Miy_modded what's on the car now and both will start and run

I've came the conclusion that the immobilizer is disabled in the first tune and the modded tune. I went through the bits for disabling the IM checks and found that it was disabled. I was able to re-enable the egr available and matched all the IM checks with a stock rom so it will try and not throw a flag for reinspection by the referee. But my issue of not having the IMMO code in the ecu is bothering. If I have to reflash to stock I wont have the immo code to do it. So its either to get the car reflashed at the dealer to 88950016 and hope I get the immo code in the process. Or go through mitsubishi tech info online. I tried that route last night and couldn't get the Update manager a to install correctly. I have a Autel j2534 JVCI that I use on other cars.

Edit. Not sure why I'm still in newbie status. Been here on and off since my first evo in 2006. Just never posted alot.
