Happy new year! Looking to see if any one has experienced the same issue or knows what to adjust to fix warm/hot start.
My cold start is good, it will generally start first crank, however, warm start will take a few cranks to get started. When I say warm I mean a casual cruise to the shops, park the car for 10min and trying to start will take a few cranks generally on the third crank it will start is this normal with E85, am I'm being to pedantic?
The only table I've adjusted to troubleshoot this is is the Cranking Enrichment IPW Adder table, I've bumped up the values at 77 and 82 degrees. Is there any other tables I need to define / adjust? The below screenshot has the latest IPW Adder values that I have tried, when I take the car out next ill do a log to see what the temp is at when I'm having trouble starting it.
JDM Evo 8MR running Tephra V7 ROM 96260709, injectors are ID 1300X and Walbro 525 pump.
Cheers
V

Probably too much fuel. That was my biggest issue with warm starts + E85. Did you modify your fuel return line for the bigger pump?
Tuning wise, there is a table usually called "Primer Pulse" or something like that. For my setup I needed to just zero that out for warm temps and work with the "startup enrichment" tables for gas and E85.
This is pretty much the defacto "startup tuning" thread.
Thanks for the response, I'll try decrease the values at 77 and 82 and see how that goes, I recall bumping up the entire table when I went E85. I'm still running the stock fuel lines.
I can't see any Primer Pulse table, I'll see if there is a definition for it in the start up tuning thread.

I tried decreasing the values in approx 5 point increments all the way down to 77 = 7.0 and 82 = 6.0 but still same issue. When logging the coolant temp its sitting at around 75 - 85 when I'm trying to start, I've tried re-scaling the table by changing 82 to 90 but still same problem.
I'm thinking I need the Start Primer table which doesn't look to be defined in the XML I have, Merlins guide suggests to update both tables. I'll dig around to see if I can find the xml.
