Hello all and thank you in advance. I recently installed an upgraded fuel pump, ID1050X injectors, and AMS fuel rail with Russell inline filter. I've got the injector scaling pretty much dialed in at this point but I'm having a hard time not overthinking the latency tuning process. Basically here's what I've got so far;FUEL TRIMS 16MINS IDLE
LTFT IDLE LOW -12.5
STFT IDLE -0.5
ADJUST LATENCY DOWN 13%
ADJUSTED AND UPLOADED
FUEL TRIMS 16MINS IDLE
LTFT IDLE LOW 8.0
STFT IDLE 1.5
ADJUST LATENCY UP 9% AND UPLOADED
Then I went on my 16min cruise
FUEL TRIMS 16MINS CRUISE 5MIN IDLE
LTFT MID -12.1
LTFT LOW -4.9
So at this point I need to increase latency value correct?
Side note: I am a very good ASE certified Toyota technician but I am NOT certified in understanding computer lingo so please use "dumb" talk for my sake

 

No - you need to reduce latency!

Read section 5 in Merlin's Guide to learn how to tune injectors.
