The reality is such that most people, even given the information, will opt to have someone like yourself provide the tune. Piece of mind and not having to worry about the source and accuracy of the tune is justification enough for paying. That is not taking in to consideration you only charge $50 + cable fee. I don't believe that showing maps will have much affect on business. Most folks aren't adventurous and confident when playing around with a $30K car. Even with the maps I have collected they will only be used as a reference for me to make changes to my own vehicle.

Now if you have your customers sign a paper that says they cant share, I guess that would work. Maybe thats your loop hole.

so.. can we talk about something more.. interesting? like tuning? so anyone know how the injector scaling values correspond to injector size? I have precision 680s. My tune thus far compensates for them via the fuel maps. I'll check my fuel trims sometime... anyone wanna give a quick lesson on fuel trims and WHY you'd want to keep them low? lol search is for people who have time.

^Tuners......Did you ask Mitsubishi permission to mess with the fuel and timing maps that they supply in the ecu that they undoubtedly took far more time, money and resources to put together?
Just wondering..... since we are on the topic of IP/Copyright/"ownership" stuff.
