ok talked with malibujack and got the cable working.....trying to get the ROM pulled from the ECU this is what i get....

i have the car off with the prog running....then get ready to pull the rom....turn the car to the ON postion....then click OK....and i get ^^^^^ with an error pop-up saying check the log. any ideas?? and for ****s and giggles i tryed pulling the ROM with the car on and it killed it....so the cable seems to be working i guess.....ANY IDEAS???

I notice sometimes that I have to re-boot the program every now and then. Also I would wait a few seconds for the Ecu to boot before you hit "OK" to dump the ROM.

ok im a retard....i was selecting Eclipse AT.....im dumb. well i dont see an option for any REG. Lacer so i chose 3rd Gen. guess that is what i want....my car fits those years......or so i pull the ROM off and then it asks how i want to "save it" do i just use the same parameters as it recommends or what? it says EVO7.....

need help.....when i pull the ROM off it then says:
Unknown ROM Image.
This wizzard will gernerate a basic ROM definition information needed to start working with this ROM image....

what do i choose? defined from scrach? copied from definition below? or inherited from definition below? below it says <evo7base>.....what do i do??

and when i click on anyone of those it "works".....i dont know what tu put of MXL definitions? and also when i clikc say High Octane Map i get this error

Current map description is invaild or incomplete. please edit map description to fix the problem and the map will be viewable again???
