I am using mustang dyno for tuning, which reads WHP only and does it just a little lower than most of the dynos. WHP numbers are similar to Superflow and Dyno Dynamics. Stock 280bhp evo shows 218whp on that dyno. Stock EvoX is about 230ish.. We dont have any DynoJets here, but AFAIK it reads much higher WHP than Mustang and has different coefficients for calculating transmission losses and BHP.

We are speaking about 420 Brake Horse Power on stock Evo9 turbo, not WHP. Stock is 280bhp, stage1 tune with a good catback and test pipe brings it up to 360-380bhp.

So 400+ bhp is what almost every evo can make, with a good turbo-back exhaust and cams on RON98. I suppose that will be about 325whp on mustang and about 365whp on Dynojet.

Can't see any magic here.

Ok let's make something clear, no one speaks bhp here. Only whp for the sake of comparability.

chill
How can you have comparability when theres huge differences in figures dyno to dyno .

Mustang reads higher than dyno dynamics.
Stock 9 turbo on evo8 engine with cams capable of 360-380 BHP, not 400, not 420.
400-possible on RACE gas. But timings posted here are for 98RON for sure.
Do you have acceleration chart for this car?
Can you post G/S reading for this engine?
Can you show injector duty?

Todd as you know there is a major difference between bhp and whp. There is difference between dynos but my god its the first time I see someone claiming bhp numbers, without specifying it the first time. With mods on a car we are able to predict how much dj or mustang this car will develop. Even if some dynos read lower, there won't be 20% difference between 2 dynos of the same type.
Anyway let's talk about something else

You are completely mistaken about Evo9 turbo and engine capabilities.

I do not have a log of this car as it was tuned some time ago. Any way stock injectors were close to max-out at 11.2 afr up top, thats why we throwed ID1000's in.

You can estimate power by 95%duty of 560cc injectors at 11 afr.

PS on race gas or meth injection - up to 450bhp.

Ok let's say 95% duty is no more than 370-380 BHP on dyno dinamics.
Actually 97-98% is 380BHP for sure.

WHP man, WHP.

325 whp on mustang, 365 whp on dynojet.

Anyway I am out of this discussion, as I don't wanna feed the troll.

Cheers.
