weird problems

basically i am getting a solid 9 counts of knock when ever i touch the gas. rev matching reving anything. i think its a bad knock sensor. i am checking the wiring today. also as soon as this happened my idle went nuts 1400rpms bouncing up and down doesnt make any sense. it all happened at once. i tried to answer all questions i percieved in my OP but i guess it was too confusing.

Start at the beginning.

What if anything have you changed recently.

Have you added parts that might be loose, or do you have old parts that might be worn out.

i think the wiring on the knock sensor is jacked up because the day before i put it on some 102 octane and was messin around and the lead from the alternator broke off the little cirlce connector that screws on it. i had to fix that so i think that the knock sensor wiring is messed up in a similar way. other than that theory i got nothin. the auto hobby shop doesnt open here on base until wed. so i can put it on a lift then to double check underthe car.

one thing i did think about is the nut that holds the turbo to the manifold vibrated its way off. i had to replace them with extras i have laying around it might be possible that its sitting somewhere vibrating and makin the noise or something?

there was always like a weird noise after a certain shop put in my TRE tranny like something was tapping the firewall but i could never locate the problem. and it never created an issue before. after i installed the torque dampner that noise pretty much went away. i just realized the my A/C does not work at all which is weird because it was fine not too long ago. could the A/C clutch have failed and all that stuff in there is messed up.

well i just fixed the knock issue it turns out that the knock sensor wires were "cut" it looked like someone cut them with wire cutters right at the back of the connector thats on the main harness. i just took off the connectors and directly wired them. im still gettin really bad throttle hang probably from a dirty airfilter and maf sensor since they are really dirty but i also found the A/C connectors were cut in a similiar way to the knock sensor which explains why my a/c mysteriously stopped working. has anyone seen anything like this before?
