Rear O2 sensor disabled from the ECU !!!!
Hi Guys,
I just flash into my ECU my 88840017 Rom file with rear O2 disabled in order to avoid the frustrating " check engine/service engine light (trouble code) to be on.
I`ve read a lot about rear O2 and still I did`nt manage to understand witch option is better to follow.......1.using a resistor or 2.disabling the O2 sensor in Periphery of the ECU.
Now I just use the second option with a help from a friend. After reflash of course the engine light was off again but still.....can be only because I reflash again a ROM.
So I did`nt have any datalog available to read the values of the front O2 yet.
My questions is .... since I don`t have the posibility to run a test over my car at this momment......to read the front O2....... it`s safe to drive the car in this situation?
Thanks guys,
Take care
