Stat rev limiter - evo 6/7
Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has an idea as to what the problem is.
I have a evo 6 running a 7 ecu with a tephra 90550001rom on it.
I recently updated the xml so that I can alter the static rpm in the mods section,
I have entered 4500rpm (shows as 4499) and a speed threshold of 4 but it does not work!
I can log speed so cant be a speed signal issue.
is it possible that it is not in the ROM I have (although updating xml allows me to alter the settings of it in ecuflash)
cant seem to upload my rom on here, but here is a link to where you can see it -

any ideas

I think the issue is because I have an older tephra rom which had a bug with the stat rpm,
so can I modify my rom with the bug fix or do I need to download the updated rom and swop everything over?

I recon it's best to download the newer version. I bit of a PITA to swap all your maps over, but thats better than altering something thats not supposed to be altered.

FWIW stat rev limit has never worked on my automatic transmission DSM. I've never worried about it or cared before but I thought I'd let you know as long as someone else brought it up.
