New FIC 1100cc High impedance Injectors
I just wanted to let you know that Fuel Injector Clinic 1100cc/min high impedance custom injector is NOW available. FIC’s 1100cc fuel injectors are the largest high impedance injectors with Evo/DSM (EV1) plug and play fit.
The magic of this 1100cc injector is in the latest fuel injector technology, which makes it a very linear injector. And the 1100cc injector provides great trailing throttle response and minimum pulse widths resulting in a perfect cold start and idle.
We are currently testing them in a 2.4 project here on E85, a Skyline, and 2 of our turbo quads.
Here is the pix-

A set of 4 is MSRP at $450

Right now the car is also on E85 and these injectors are VERY responsive.
FWIW-
Displacement- 2.4
Cams- S2s
Omnipower 4 bar
SD settings-
MAPVE- the same one I always post up
RPMVE leaned at idle to 93-99, 100-102% out the top
Scaling- 522
Latency-
11v- 1.032
14v-.744

Those are on the 2.4L he mentioned maybe?
I have my FIC1050s dialed in *perfect*, is there any reason to upgrade to these? Or would it be better to just recommend them to others, and use them if I ever do another car?

If you have the 1050s and love them, continue to use them.
With my current method of SD, displacement is a direct ratio on scaling. On my car for instance 10% displacement meant I had to change the scaling from 1624 to 1462...almost exactly 10% more fuel for 10% more displacement. I would suspect on a MAF car that these would be somewhere in the 800s on a 2.0.
I updated that post with relevant information

I have a set of RC 1000CC's that I had on the BBK 2.0. I'm in the process of a 2.4 build and have been considering a different injector for a few reasons. I have a full-blown set up on stock lines and rail. Would you suggest these over say PTE 1200's or RC1200's?

Evo X, Yamaha 700R and a few others use that style. It is an atomisation function but going either way (away from it or using it) doesnt seem to affect anything. I'll put on in an intake and see where it sits and take a pic.

Also, where would these be available. I haven't seen them on FIC's website.

They are technically still pre release. Being a FIC dealer and testing these I was allowed to post the information. They should be on the site shortly, but yes over those injector choices I would definitely grab these first.

It sticks down a little but where that sits in the injector pocket in the head its not 'in" the way. I put a pic of the DSM in so you can see how it would mesh up into that pocket on an Evo head (or approx.)
