Problem with LM Programmer LC-1 ?

Has anyone had any issues programming the LC1 ?

I went to the analog 2 tab, set starting afr to 7.4 and end to 22 then advanced tab and set smoothing to 1/12 second

I press the program button and it greys out.. DO I have to wait for something or is it instantaneous ?

Anyway when I go back settings have changed back ????

When I start the car, afr reads 14.8 until the unit warms up, led blinks faster, goes off then goes solid. AFR is then sitting on 22 !!!

What the ? Is it possible that the sensor recalibrated itself to free air while the engine was running, or is this an issue with the programmer software ?

Thanks,
JB

I have been having issues with my LC-1 and DB series gauge when trying to use analog output 2. After numerous calibrations and sending the gauge back to Innovate, I still had the issue when I got it back. So I checked the voltage between analog 1 and analog 2 and there was a difference of around 1 volt. When I switched the gauge to analog 1 the gauge works perfect. I also can not program analog 2. I may call Innovate to see what the issue is.

Well I sent my first unit back because it was faulty and would not respond..

I found what had actually happened this time was it decided to do a free air calibration on its own while the engine was running.

I waited until the following day and pressed the calibrate button before starting the car. Now all is well

Looks like programming the unit is going to be problematic.. Hopefully I wont need to do it again.

Ok I had to do it again and same thing happened bugger..

Can someone tell me whether the LM Programmer is supposed to load up your programmed values upon startup ??? because mine isnt doing that..

What I am getting at, it how do I know that the programming has taken effect ?

My LC-1 would act up from time to time and to be honest, I never got to the bottom of it...frustrating

Cool, I just charged my battery and sitting at 13.6v when I did the programming

also my cheap usb to serial pl2303 cable was very unreliable but I found some old xp 2002 drivers that fixed it up and it now works like a charm

I am now able to connect and program without issues. When I re-connect it reads my programmed values into the software !!

BTW.
I programmed in a narrowband output of 16.7 and the car was able to run in closed loop without any air flow modifications..
