Seriously considering making a "no boost (econo)" map

On my car, I was running around on wastegate pressure (11psi) for a while and I could run a ton of timing and lean as hell at WOT on 91 octane. Fully tuned, I ran around the 12.8:1 range with like 25+ degrees by 7000 RPM. I could have ran leaner and with more timing, but it didn't make any more power so that's where I stopped. Car made 280 WHP on the VDR program at that level and was reasonably fun to drive around.
I also lean cruised at about 16:1 on the freeway and the car was also 300 pounds lighter then stock. I'm constantly on boost, so changing driving habits would have had a much larger impact, but even constantly being on the gas, I was still getting about 25mpg average.
Best bet though, ditch the AWD and go direct injected turbo FWD for a daily driver. 250+ WHP pretty easily and yet still get 30-35mpg.
