Will Evo 8 wideband o2 work with Evo 9 ECU ?

Hey. I've heard that in Evo 8 was installed Bosch o2 wideband sensor (Bosch number 0 258 007 206) . Is it true? Is this sensor compatible with Evo 9 ecu and what could it brings to me? Is there any way to use it for logging/displayin afr on some gauge ?

Thanks!
