Another Oxygen Sensor Thread
This is one of the noobiest questions I've asked in a while but I couldn't find the info searching:
For those of us with wideband o2 gauges, do we have THREE O2 sensors?
ie, one in the o2 housing, one pre-cat that we use for the measurement, and one post-cat for emissions?
I recently blew some oil through the exhaust, and I'm looking to replace the O2 sensor that the wideband uses - I guess both the o2 sensor in the downpipe and the one post-cat are "downstream" o2 sensors? Or did those of us who bought widebands have an o2 sensor come with them, and I should buy that same model -
Thanks
edit: I think I've found my answer: wideband gauges use a wideband o2 sensor like the Bosch LSU 4.2 sensor, which is separate from the regular o2 sensors.... i believe. I think the autometer came with the bosch lsu 4.2, so I'll probably grab one of those
can anyone confirm the part number for the bosch wide-band o2 sensor that comes with the autometer 4378? i checked everywhere but I can't find it either 17014 (typical for other wideband gauges) or 17070
Answered: Most likely is the 17070 - http://www.amazon.com/Auto-Meter-224...5064631&sr=8-1

I'm just checking to see if the connector portion of all Bosch LSU 4.2's are the same
Trending Topics
Looks like the Bosch LSU 4.2 can have the part number 17014, which is typical (and cheap) and 17070 which is a little rarer and more expensive - and it's possible that that's the connector the autometer wideband uses
judging from the price it must be the 17070....
thanks a lot, i guess i'll go ahead and order
