Because when it fails or starts to fail your car will do some strange things.
Any way to tell other than logs?

Key on engine off, check the MAP's output voltage. Verify your atmosphreric pressure for the day. Call OMNI, ask them what voltage the sensor should read for that day's atmo pressure, and compare that number to what measured. This is a KOEO test, and you'll need a voltmeter.

Example: at 0psig (1 atmosphere, 14.7psia), the MAP is supposed to read 1.5v. The atmo pressure for the day is 1 atmosphere (0psig, 14.7psia), but you measure the sensor output at 1.8v. You have a bad MAP.

Is there a way to log this in EVOScan?

Bump for the EVOScan data item if there is one.

I ordered a full rebuild kit per say for the stock TB. I also ordered a Skunk2 68mm TB which retains the EGR hookups since I am being stubborn and continuing to tune with it on, I have the MAP.REV.3 Manifold which can accommodate up to a 70mm TB, uses a reducer TB Spacer to accommodate the stock TB, 2 seals to replace there if I choose to return the Skunk2 and stick with the stock, I feel it is a weakness having to use the reducer, but you absolutely have to or the stock TB is to small to seal against the manifold. I also ordered a new Omni 4 BAR just in case, Heat Range 8 Denso SP, and a new IAC. I am up against the ropes to have this ready for Pikes Peak in 10 days. So having spare parts just in case, ready to go.

Thanks for the current and further vital information referring to logging and troubleshooting those of you have passed or can pass my way towards these issues.

No, evoscan is effected by the formula. Get voltage meter and test it.

Good to know. Looks like I have another addition to my checklist. I also just bought a spare, just in case.

Thanks again.
