WGDC Fixes (what are they?)

So, I'm going through my v7 (90550701) and just trying to understand what each of these tables actually means. Ive got a whole bunch in the "Miscellaneous tephra mods" submenu that I have no idea what they mean. Would someone care to educate me please?

-Gear timing trim patch #1 (0x874F -> 0x8446) The current value is 20FE (Which apparently is equal to 8446 in hex)
-WGDC=100% fix
-WGDC fix 1
-WGDC fix 2
-WGDC fix 3
-WGDC fix 4
-WGDC fix 5
-WGDC fix 6

In global ignition settings there's also
-Ignition retard limit (self explanatory, however below it theres "timingRetared2"..)

In global fuel settings there's:
-Fuel cut multiplier
-Fuel cut load x1
-Fuel cut load X2

In global boost control theres RPM/Speed to gear, I've got a W5M33-2-NRBE trans, which obviously has different ratios to Evo boxes, so im not sure if i should be changing these numbers or not..

Ill probably find more as I work my way through, but thats it for now.
I tried to find a "tephra v7 tables explained" thread, but wasnt successful, so i apologise if this has already been covered somewhere

Couple of extras..
Tephramod options:
-Enable airflow calcs
-Enable manifold absolute pressure averaging

I am thinking this might be the "Gear Based Boost" setting. Is it a single switch, only one field?

-WGDC=100% fix
This might be the WGDC 100% under "this" load value. Meaning the WGDC will stay at 100% till load in field reached.

The other ones I have never heard of before.

Could be secondary ignition retard tables for warmup.

-Fuel cut multiplier
-Fuel cut load x1
-Fuel cut load X2
These definitely are the double load and fuel cut multipliers for high boost. Stock is 319 or fuel cut load 1, fuel cut load 2 doubles this so above certain boost, you don't hit fuel cut.

On another note, List those other tables with memory addresses for each one. Maybe a screen shot of the actual tables within ECUFlash. Might help.

Im just using the standard 90550701 Tephra v7 ROM, and this XML

Fuel cut load x1 goes from 180 to 168%, from 3000rpm to 7000rpm
Fuel cut load x2 goes from 360 to 335 between the same rpm ranges.

File Type: xml

Scaling for both of those seems to be off at first glance.
I also do not have a correlating ROM file to go with your XML, so attache a current ROM the way you have it please.

I have noticed certain values seem to make no sense

Am I allowed to upload 90550701? (considering it's a paid ROM from tephra)

I wasn't aware of actual purchased ROMS. Most of Tephra's stuff was donation paid for. But again, not to step on toes, I guess ask him. Send him a P.M. If you want, email it to me, p.m. me. I use the 94170715 ROM so I'm not interested in it, and it probably wont work on the USDM EVO 8.

This post should fill you in a little bit OP.

I don't know any more than that though. I did unsuccessfully try out the timing trim per gear on my 96260709 rom and as far as I know it does not work on any other rom either.

You could also ask donner what the WGDC fixes should be (as briefly mentioned in the linked post), but I think that he has priorities a little more important than in the Evo community these days (how dare he! haha).

Having said that, maybe Raceghost can work some magic.

Maybe I should relearn how to read disassembled code again, too... one day.
