Please help me, I need to know when the Evo VIII will be available in Spain or other country that drives at the left side (LHD)

In a magazine this week i read the because the ambient emissions!! , they will not released in Europe que EVO VII in 280hp version, only in a less powered version. They said they will come in a 220hp version

Other reason for this (said the president of mitsubishi in Portugal) is that EVO is no longe a special production version of a car, it will be a normal version, so they are more restriced in emissions to the ambient, so no more 280hp will be avaluable.

I doubt because for UK they will released a 280hp and also a FQ300 (more than 300hp). Doesn´t UK have the same restrictions in emissions to the ambient as well as all the rest of the europe ???

Please, if anyone of you know something of these, please tell us, because, if i have sure that EVO VIII doesn´t came with 280hp, i will get maybe one of the last EVO VII

A UK dealer who posts on the MLR as Black Knight seems to reckon the VIII launched last week in at least some European territories.

yeah, i've heard those rumours too.. in Turbo magazine (a portuguese car mag) there was a quick reference to the EvoVIII that was going to be sold in Europe, and they mentioned 260hp.. but ive seen people talking about hp being down to 220.. it would really suck if this came to be true

In Aus we are getting the same spec as your European Evo VIII. They are starting to arrive of this week but we will have a very limited run for the whole country - 100 cars.

Our cars will be the equivalent of the UK- FQ 260
The only differences from this car to other UK models (exceluding the MR) are the ECU tune and air-flow systems. Not a big problem to change.
