Good WE :D

Hahaa, had a really nice long weekend which started off with a nice driftsession on a "professional" skidpad with Jan and Hugh in Belgium, some really good sideways action, harhar (sideways with all four wheels spinning). But it also showed me how very privileged we Evo drivers are in the sideways department as Hugh gave me a go in his 911 964 RS (thanks again, Hugh!). All I did with that car was spin apart from some tiny slides. Even the instructor had a hard time, I mean, when I tried it, you'd make the back step out and then there was nothing I could do to prevent it from spinning...

Anyway, then on Sunday 6 laps on the Ring, with the funniest thing being that my mate that was with me had to throw up after my two last laps Well, actually he didn't, but had to struggle mightily to keep it down. That's the biggest reward I ever had from my driving The reason is probably that I don't have very clean lines yet and that lap had a lot of understeer/drifts/hard braking moments.

All in all a very rewarding weekend .

It was fun, now you can see we are driving a girls-car , power steering, 4-wheel drive, engine in the front & RWD... There's is hardly no reward in drifting the EVO and I still can't manage to get controlled high-speed drifts. Oh well, I'd better shut up and practise some more.
A 964 RS overtook me in SPA when it was pissing down with rain and I was sliding all over on standard road tyres, the RS was running intermediates, nevertheless, that driver had my full respect.
