ok, so now im just finding out that i have a slow leak in my transmission, ive taken my car to the mitsubishi place in landsthul but maybe you guys might know a better place to go to thats still close to the ramstein area

If they find that its a simple fix, then stick with the dealership. Otherwise I'd talk to Steffen or Patrick.

its a small part of the seal underneath the transmission and i think by the transfer case. the shop said it would take 3 days to fix since they would have to take the whole transmission out

ouch, expensive. the question now will be - how's your clutch? if you are on a stock one, might as well spend the $ and replace it now while the tranny is coming out.

Also, look into Patrick and Steffen, they can probably save you 100's of Euro if they do it over the delaership cost.

yea i was thinking about upgrading the clutch and flywheel at the same time too. any suggestions? im def uned when it comes to the whole clutch assembly

My 8 had an exedy twin.....do it right the first time or be ready to do it multiple times.
