Hey i´m also a german Evo owner.
I´m living 60Km in the north of Frankfurt.

Looks like I get to spend another week in Germany. I really wish I had my Evo with me. I'd love to take it on the Ring. Have any of you guys ever done the Ring Taxi? Or you think it would be more fun to take my slow rental car for a few laps?

 

the Ring taxi is very expensive. if you want to get a few fast laps ask any german Evo driver.

 

Ring Taxi is not only expensive but there's usually a waiting list. Take a rental out there....doesnt matter if its slow, you'll have. Its the Nurburgring!

i hope you will enjoy your new engine (but you need a bigger Turbo)
Unfortunately my Evo is currently not allowed otherwise. I would take you for a ride.

Patrick! I just put 2 and 2 together. After talking with you Steffen, I think I'm gonna go with an AMS 750R kit. Hopefully the HKS turbo will last long enough for me to save up for it

Hey, Bitburg is having there last drag racing of the season starting tomorrow going through the weekend. If anyone can make it you should come out!

They ran last weekend also and I went 13.7@99mph on just 10psi. I'm hoping to have the boost issue fixed tomorrow morning and I'm also pulling the seats and going for a really low 13 if I can get my boost back. I'll be in my '03 Black Tarmac VIII with smaller OZ Rally spoiler. Come say hey or call me at 0160-917-89207.
